Social Media Executive

**WHO WE ARE**:
Roxy are professionals at play who bring the playground to the bar. We’re searching for an enthusiastic Social Media Executive to join our Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of an ever-growing brand and team. With 19 (soon to be 20) venues across the UK.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
As Social Media Executive you will work closely with our Marketing team, particularly the Social Media Manager, to build, drive and execute the social media plans and strategy for Roxy Leisure Ltd social channels. Using your strong creative vision, with a particular enthusiasm for TikTok and Instagram Reels, you will be able to capture the energetic spirit of Roxy through exciting and varied content. With a proactive and highly organised attitude, you’ll support the Social Media Manager in managing a high output and reactive social media content calendar from end-to-end.

**CONTENT CREATION**
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to create content suitable for our various channels: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and YouTube (+ more).
- Create social media content (video and photography) that builds our brand, engages our audience and is creative, engaging, entertaining and supports the brand’s strong position within the competitive socialising market.
- Create reactive social assets, particularly Instagram Reels and TikToks, while staying on top of current trends and adapting content accordingly.
- Regularly (multiple days each week) travel to our venue sites across the UK to capture new content and showcase all our diverse sites, activities and offerings.
- Encourage staff participation in content creation: using your confident interpersonal skills to get staff/customers involved in videos and photos.
- Transform and edit captured raw content into exciting and relevant videos.
- Contribute to content ideas: be aware of and actively research the latest developments, news and trending topics/themes to push reactive ideas, content or activities that can elevate our brand and earn additional exposure.
- Assist in larger content creation days (e.g. food and cocktail menu shoots) with the wider marketing team.

**CONTENT MANAGEMENT**
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to manage all platform scheduling.
- Take ownership of our scheduling platform, ensuring a well-balanced and engaging schedule across all social platforms as well as maintaining an organised scheduling platform ‘back office’.
- Adopt the Roxy tone of voice to produce engaging, brand-affirming caption copy.
- Management of User Generated Content (UGC), building an extensive and diverse bank of organic imagery.
- Repurpose content across multiple platforms incl TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X and LinkedIn
- Maintain an organised asset library as our quantity of content grows.

**COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT**
- Respond to marketing-related customer enquiries/direct messages received through social media channels in a timely manner.
- Engage with our growing social community through replying to comments and creating conversation.

**ABOUT YOU**
- 1 year of social media experience within a business with an interest in food/drink/nightlife/gaming/leisure/retail/experiential/tourism.
- Content creation, scheduling and publishing experience for a brand/business across multiple platforms incl TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Ability to organise and prioritise tasks.
- Strong photography and videography skills with a portfolio of previous experience and ability to use video editing software (e.g CapCut, Wondershare or similar)
- Experience using Outlook and other Office software.
- You must be confident and willing to approach and encourage members of our team or members of the public to get involved in our social media - be able to hype them up, make them feel confident and at ease to create engaging video content.
- Build great relationships including venue teams, sales teams and external stakeholders to create relevant content across the business.
- We’re a highly creative and collaborative team, so welcome individuals that can identify trends and pitch new ideas to constantly take our social media to the next level
- Excellent copywriting skills and command of the English language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring no typos on any of our platforms.
- A confident self-starter full of ideas who is comfortable working independently.
- Experience in social media scheduling platforms is desirable.
- Able to travel to our Horsforth office.
- Available to travel regularly around the UK to our venues (driving not essential)
