**About the role**:
As our **Senior Financial Planning System Analyst,** you will play an integral role supporting the on-going development and maintenance of our financial planning and reporting system, currently Anaplan.

Working within the Finance team, you will be the technical expert for queries on the financial planning system (Anaplan), providing advice to stakeholders (including senior managers) and explaining often complex issues/tools in an understandable way.

**Responsibilities of our Senior Financial Planning System Analyst**:

- Helping to identify and implement opportunities to enhance data connectivity between all systems- Taking a proactive role in identifying potential improvements to the system and processes- Being the key decision maker for any system changes, taking account of wider and sometimes complex implications such as costs and wider cross HMLR impacts- Building capability on the financial planning system (Anaplan) across the wider the wider organisation through co-ordination, development and delivery of training material and courses that build understanding of the use of and outputs from the models
**What we are looking for in our Senior Financial Planning System Analyst**:

- Experience of managing, maintaining, and developing a complex reporting system, and of training system users- Adept at complex data analysis, and have experience of manging system access controls- You will be comfortable with managing multiple stakeholders at all levels- Ability to explain complex system issues to non-technical users- Logically minded- Confident with Excel
There will be the opportunity to build effective working relationships across HMLR and the Anaplan network, and we will support you in gaining official Anaplan Qualifications (or obtaining further qualifications).
