Head of Global and Sustainable Outcomes Equities - London

The Role

The position sits in the Global Equities team based in London and reports into Head of Equities. The Head of Global and Sustainable Outcomes Equities must possess a passion for leadership, experience of sustainable investing and a commercial mindset.

The Team

The Global and Sustainable Outcomes Equities team are responsible for the portfolio management, strategic development and promotion of our Climate, Social and Natural Capital equity funds, our Global Stewardship products and the well-established Global Income and Endurance funds. The team works closely with our global analysts, who report into our Head of Research, and everyone has analyst responsibilities alongside their portfolio management role. In addition the team works very closely with ESG colleagues, in particular the Sustainable Outcomes team in developing the understanding and integration of their pillar topics into the investment process.

The team members are collaborative, non-hierarchical, inclusive and operate in a highly interactive, collegiate, team environment.

**Responsibilities**:
- Management of Global and Sustainable Outcomes Team- Represent AI externally and the Global Equities team internally at senior levels- Support the development of the equity investment process in particular the pivot towards sustainability- As a member of the Equities Leadership team help the Aviva Investors equities franchise move forward

**Requirements**:
- Passion for Leadership and building well-functioning, inclusive and collaborative teams- Commercial mindset with a focus on raising global equity assets under management- Successful experience in integrating ESG strategies into investment process- Ability to credibly present externally with clients, media and conferences on global equities and sustainable outcomes- Has demonstrable experience building relationships with relevant stakeholders across the company
