Consult are delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity has surfaced Our client are a highly reputable business who work with the market leading brands across food, beverage, personal care, home care and pharmaceutical industries. They’re now lookingto recruit a talented and enthusiastic Senior Research Executive to join their team in Reading. The role will manage sensory and consumer projects; ensure that all documented procedures relevant to Project Management are adhered to, deadlines are kept andbudgets maintained.

**Responsibilities**:

- To develop good business relationships with clients and seek opportunities to grow their business.
- Delight clients via exceptional client service and deliverables.
- Uphold the Company Quality System; to write, implement and work within documented company procedures.
- Work at all times in accordance with the Company Culture to achieve the Company Mission.
- Anticipate problems and opportunities in relation to time management and propose and implement solutions.
- Liaise with existing clients to understand their research requirements, write project proposals and use rate cards to cost routine research.
- Communicate appropriately with the client at all times during the project to manage expectations, respond to their enquiries promptly and keep them informed of all key outputs.
- Attend and co-deliver client debriefs as appropriate, carry out the project within the budget set and deliver on time.
- Invoice accurately and within one week of completion of the project (unless otherwise agreed with the client).
- Complete all necessary financial records and administration relating to the project.
- Ensure that the external costs allocated to your projects are not exceeded and that the work is carried out within the allocated time.
- Ensure adequate training of casual workers and sensory panel members and maintain records and deliver technical training to other team members as required
- Keep up to date with new and emerging research methodologies and evaluate their potential for the business.
- Work on internal innovation and development projects to investigate the value of new techniques and technology to our clients.

**About You**:

- Strong team player with a passion for Sensory Science and experience of working with trained sensory panels or moderating consumer focus groups.
- A relevant degree such as Food Science, Sensory Science, Psychology or Sociology is desirable.
- Organise and plan your time to ensure that all your deadlines are met and promises to both clients and colleagues kept.
