**Surgical Care Practitioner - Robotics | Surgical Theatres | Band 7 Equivalent | Wirral | Full time**

As part of our ongoing expansion, Spire Murrayfield Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Surgical Care Practitioner - Robotics to join their Theatre Team.

The role will involve assisting with all surgical procedure with a focus on robotic assisted surgery. You will be involved with the care of the patient through their surgical pathway with the main focus on theatre‐based work.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Participate in operative procedures and aspects of pre‐ and post‐operative care of robot assisted surgical (RAS) patients under the direct, indirect and proximal supervision of the consultant surgeons.
- Responsible for the assessment, planning, diagnosis implementation and care, as an autonomous practitioner with the multi‐professional team.
- Be involved in the strategic review and improvement of clinical services as appropriate through active participation with the multi‐professional team.
- Be responsible for implementing a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care encompassing new treatments and evidence‐based care.
- Working in close participation with patients and their families to ensure shared clinical decision process

**Who we're looking for**:

- Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse - With a HCPC or NMC registration (no restrictions)
- Working as an advanced perioperative practitioner in and across surgical teams
- Experience in scrub and Surgical First Assistant in Orthopaedics, Spinal, Urology, General and Gynaecology Surgery is desirable.
