Health & Safety Officer - Part Time (09:30-14:30) - 12 Month FTE - Doncaster

Lucid are proud to be working with an established manufacturing organisation on a new QHSE Officer opportunity, this role is to ensure the upkeep of the facilities and equipment inline with Health & Safety/Environmental Legislation and ensuring the overallsafety and wellbeing of the staff.

Health & Safety/Environmental
- Ensure the company comply with Health & Safety/Environmental legislation.
- Audit the company site and all possible risks on a regular basis.
- Hold regular meetings with Health & Safety and other external bodies to maintain acceptable levels within the company.
- Ensure compliance for accident and near miss reporting. Ensure risk assessments are developed and adhered to by staff.
- Make changes where and when required to maintain high level of compliance for all employees of Westwood Pipelines including external workers and drivers.

Quality Management System
- Maintain and keep up to date all and any process documentation relating to day to day duties.
- Carry out the roles required to achieve QMS compliance.
- Report to the business any improvements required.
- Implement improvements.

Facilities Management
- Facilities management - Including setting up maintenance contracts, service contracts and other requirements to ensure continuation of activity.
- General upkeep of the whole site including Sales Office, Workshop, perimeter fence, out buildings, CCTV, making sure clean, tidy and safe at all times that fall within H&S and Environmental requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Must hold certifications (IOSH or NEBOSH)
- Experience in manufacturing environments is ideal
- Confident working on your own and strong documentation skills
- Excellent written English skills required
- Solid understanding of government legislation around QHSE

This role is due to start May 1st, and run for 12 months FTE, with the possibility to remain employed after this initial period.
