Pharmacy Apprenticeship

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. This role is designed for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment while developing essential skills in patient care and pharmacy operations. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals, learning the intricacies of medication administration and pharmacy technician duties.

**Duties**
- Assist in providing patient care under the supervision of qualified staff.
- Support pharmacy technicians in daily operations, including inventory management and medication preparation.
- Learn and adhere to medication administration protocols, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and patient interaction.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following health and safety regulations.
- Engage with patients to provide information and support as required, fostering a positive experience.

**Experience**
- Previous experience or interest in patient care is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with pharmacy technician responsibilities is a plus, although comprehensive training will be provided.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.

At the end of the apprenticeship the qualifications gained will be NVQ level 2, where you will become a qualified Pharmacy Technician and there will be an opportunity to progress to NVQ level 3 in order to gain the Accredited Checking Technician qualification.

Pay: £18,236.00-£26,043.00 per year
