**We are looking for Senior Line Leaders**

At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.

You will join us on a fulltime permanent contract.

The shift pattern will be Panama, two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off, equating to 80.5 hours per fortnight.

**The job role**

Reporting directly to the shift supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that we meet quality standards and complete all customers orders on time. Key Responsibilities Include:

- Run machinery in line with company’s SOP’s and best practices.
- Manage agency staff working on your line and actively check understanding of what is required of them. Support them if they are struggling to understand.
- Manage your line team to ensure they are meeting all production targets set by the business.
- Monitor team’s performance and support them to overcome shortfalls.
- Training of new operators on shift to ensure that they are aware of their duties.
- Set examples within the team in matters of health and safety - ensuring near misses/accidents are reported in a timely manner. Also encourage team members to do the same.
- Consistently meet all production targets/KPI’s set to you. Provide clear explanation and reasoning if this cannot be met.
- Lead the machine production trials, including collating data and report on findings to relevant managers.
- Be fully competent in all production lines across the site and deliver consistent performance in line with KPI’s.
- Work in collaboration with the engineering team on troubleshooting issues and suggestions for solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the QA team to check and manage quality of product on your line in line with specifications.
- Cover/deputise for shift supervisor when required.
- Support the site to be audit ready at all times.

**What we’re looking for in your skill set**
- Previous experience as a Machine or Technical Operator
- NAV ERP system usage.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
- A real team player with a positive attitude to implement change.
