MMP Consultancy is currently seeking an M&E Surveyor for a housing association on an interim contract. £300 per day (Inside IR35). Looking for bias across Mechanical and Electrical areas of work in particular:

- Electrical
- Lifts
- FRA Remedial Actions
- Water Hygiene

Key Duties:

- The role will primarily be responsible for the proper and efficient maintenance of the installations, plant and equipment across the housing stock.
- Delivering services in compliance with health and safety requirements and is wide ranging and complex-covering planned maintenance, inspection and installation of equipment and services.
- Experienced in mechanical and electrical works, delivering both service schedules and reactive works across a broad spectrum to include lifts, door entry systems, alarm call systems, fire safety equipment, water hygiene.
- Lead professional in all aspects of inspections, design and building contract procurement of works for the service and to provide expert professional and technical advice, guidance, training and support in all matters relating to cyclical maintenance of the stock in a customer focussed manner.
- Act as project manager for cyclical maintenance and other improvement projects as assigned, providing a professional and efficient service, ensuring that works are carried out within the agreed constraints of time, budget, quality and performance and in compliance with statutory legislation, building regulations, health and safety policies and financial regulations.
- Have current knowledge of statutory legislation, building regulations, health and safety legislation, guidance and best practice and policies and financial regulations.
- Responsible for resolving customer complaints/claims quickly and to a satisfactory outcome.
- Lead on overall compliance in line with H&S legislation covering
- fire systems, lifts, electrical testing, water hygiene and green energy renewables.
