Production Planning Assistant / Eye, Suffolk / Salary is DOE / Full time / Permanent

We are recruiting a Production Planning Assistant to join our successful manufacturing client based in Eye, Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities:

- To create routings and bill of materials for standard and special parts.
- Creating P.I. counts, arranging and being involved with the physical counting.
- Booking up and dealing with stock discrepancies and dealing with general stock discrepancies notified by other departments.
- Updating coil numbers onto jobs within Epicor
- Create paperwork for Jack requirements and update paperwork as required.
- To provide necessary support to the Senior Production Planner.
- To provide cover for other members of the Production planning team in their absence.

- Good administrative skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Ability to work using your initiative to a high standard with excellent attention to detail whilst meeting deadlines.
- The ability to adapt to new software and business systems.
- A positive approach combined with efficient communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

General requirements
- Computer proficient skills including MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft TEAMS.
- The ability to maintain an upbeat and positive approach at all times.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to positively influence the behaviour of others.
- Evidence of the ability to be flexible in ways of working.
- Passion for change and continuous improvement.

- Company Group Personal Pension Scheme: The scheme is a contributory scheme, with the employee contributing 4% of earnings and the Company contributing 4% of earnings. Company contributions increase to 6% after 5 years’ service and 7% after 10 years’ service.
- Life Assurance is provided at 3 times basic salary.
- On site parking is provided.
- 23 holiday days rising to 25 holiday days plus Bank Holidays.
