**What we are looking for**

A technical or functional role expected to deliver closely defined tasks within company procedures and industry standards. The person will receive clear guidance.

In operations they will support the local nominated Transport Champions / Managers based at projects on behalf of Magnor Plant.

In commercial they will work with Senior Plant Coordinators and the Morgan Sindall Fleet Manager. They may supervise small groups working on a specific task.

**Summary of role**:
Ensure all transport requirements for the contract are provided to meet operational requirements and in line with Magnor Plant commercial vehicle procedures / processes.

**Responsibilities and accountabilities**:
The timely hiring and off hiring of Transport.

Day to day monitoring of the Commercial vehicle inbox and queries.

Supporting the MS Fleet Manager regarding the O’ licence register and ensuring it is up to date

Completes data input of all relevant information and produces weekly reports for the on and off hires of all vehicles.

Highlight any issues or areas for concern to the Senior Plant buyer and or MS Fleet Manger.

Day to day coordination of the Transport requirements of the Projects and liaise with the supply Chain on behalf of projects and Magnor Plant.

On Hires and off hires input on coins.

Day to day management of the current license checking software and action any alerts / reminders and ensure the relevant software systems are maintained with correct data.

Respond to queries from the delivery team and take appropriate action/make decision

Ensure defined standards of service are achieved from Supply Chain partners and SLA is adhered to.

Monitor and keep up to date commercial vehicle spreadsheet to make sure sites are charged correctly and all vehicles and road going plant are insured

Log and maintain detailed and accurate records on vehicle damage and repair notifications and negotiate settlements

Log and maintain detailed & accurate records on congestion, parking & penalty notices

Keep fuel card cost heads up to date and issue new/replacement cards

Source commercial vehicles via supply chain partners and follow through with appropriate paperwork to customers and suppliers

File and perform other clerical tasks as assigned in support of the wider Magnor Plant business.

Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between customers and suppliers. Interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone and written instructions.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers and suppliers.

Responsible for the overall MID (motor insurance database) returns and up keep as per company procedures via all nominated supply Chain partners.
