MJM Industrial are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to work directly for a market leader in material handling systems.

The successful site supervisor will be responsible for the delivery of all mechanical and electrical installation activities and equipment.

**Role and responsibilities**:
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the installation, assembly, dismantling, maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning activities. Reporting on progress of planned, against actual work and proactively seeking countermeasures to be identified to the Site Manager, coordinating with all interfacing subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Leadership and supervision of the installation teams to achieve successful delivery of M&E equipment through proven technical ability including safety and quality leadership. Acting autonomously championing the required behaviours against a strategic vision of zero incidents and right first-time delivery.
- In charge with liaison with subcontractors and stakeholders to achieve a productive and positive working environment.
- Focal point for driving snagging resolution to a satisfactory outcome, supporting the preparation for CE/UKCA marking assessment and handover activities.
- Ownership of activities providing a pivotal role in the local resolution method. Reporting upwards to senior site supervisor/site manager on progress in relation to expected targets.
- Control of installers planned vs. actual progress and proactively identifying opportunities to better deliver expectations.
- Supporting continuous improvement activities and execute implementation.
- Actively work with a givers mindset and embodied leadership principals
- Leader in safety & quality, setting the standard both in and out of the project environment.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate well within all levels throughout the site team providing factual and clear information in a timely manner with an aim of achieving the right outcome.

**Role Qualification and Skills**
- 3-5 Years experience in successful supervision of teams during delivery of large and complex projects.
- Successful proven implementation within all phases of a project.
- Awareness of mechanical and electrical installations.
- Awareness and good understanding of CDM Regulations and HASWA.
- Possess the ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications, layouts.
- Proven safety record through installation delivery within time critical and pressurised working environments

**Preferred Qualifications**
- SSSTS Trained as a minimum
- ECS/JIB/CSCS Card
- IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum, NEBOSH General Certificate preferable
- First Aid At Work
- Engineering Degree or Equivalent NVQ
- 18th Edition
