This list of duties and responsibilities, which follows, represents the broad range of tasks which may be required to be undertaken either routinely or periodically. This list is not exhaustive and the role may include additional duties which are not listed here: - Support and eventually lead on funding bids and sourcing funding partners and organisations inclusive of GP Practice funding as well as other areas such as health inequalities / social value / Digital / Estates / Green initiatives etc. Proactively support the management of service contracts and assist with annual returns and KPIs that sit in each contract Assist the Business team with the financial elements for the primary care services monitoring such as for Enhanced Access contracts and SMI North Support the finance team by assisting with the preparation of tender applications and monitoring the financial aspects of on-going contracts in liaison with and direction from the Head of Finance Assist with the identification of financial growth opportunities for GP Practices in terms of funding / extra services, such as day unit funding, Support the finance team with raising claims and monitoring income and expenditure in liaison with and direction from the Head of Finance Medical Student and GPST income monitoring expenditure in liaison with and direction from the Business Manager Award nominations and lead on this in terms of ensuring we continue to sell ourselves Assist with the initial implementing and at times the operationalising of all new services, ensuring that allocated projects and associated works are carried out including delivering training sessions and materials to non-clinical and clinical staff working closely with the Operational Teams Lead on smaller projects where appropriate as and when needed Work closely with the digital team alongside the Business Team to ensure contractual compliance Assist with SLA production and writing for new services in conjunction with the Business Team Provide support to the Business Management team with the Social Value plan inclusive on ongoing monitoring Support the Business Manager and Head of Business Management with new project invoicing arrangements, liaising closely with the finance department to ensure funds are received This role with work closely with the Head of Business and Business Manager in developing and embedding a new contract monitoring software program Assist with policy development and writing policies for new services File and assist with the contracting tracker and contract management system Membership support and management and linking with partners for regular updates such as Social Enterprise Mark / Carlisle Partnership / Cumbria CVS
