Milk Education is currently searching for a supportive, compassionate Engagement Support Assistant for a SEND school in Knowsley which specialises in children with a diagnosis of autism. The role will involve, but not be limited to, supporting children to make excellent personal and academic progress, implementing relevant, exciting and challenging curriculum, as well as creating a safe and secure environment for children where they feel respected and valued.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Nurturing and encouraging the skills, interests and talents of children
- Sharing the commitment with teaching staff to providing the best possible learning opportunities for each and every child through planned lessons and activities
- Displaying excellent levels of empathy and understanding
- Using initiative to manage potentially challenging behavior effectively
- Attending to the personal needs of the children and young people
