**Hours of work 7pm-3.30am, Monday - Friday**

**Lincolnshire Herbs is one of the largest growers of fresh cut and living pot herbs in the UK and we have an opportunity for a full time QA to join our team based in Bourne, Lincs.**
- To ensure Raw Material Goods are processed accurately and efficiently onto the Rubicon system.
- To conduct quality checks on intake, generating quality assessments including photographs and communicating the results to our suppliers.
- To ensure that Goods (cut & pot) delivered meet the required specifications.
- To work within cut production, auditing the product journey through production and closely monitoring paperwork conformance.
- To conduct a range of audits; Internal Audits, GMP, and Quality audits ensuring standards and systems are working correctly.
- To ensure accurate checking of codes/dates/labels, sleeves and packaging etc and action any discrepancies identified.
- Daily Quality stock check, to ensure that any stock issues/quality feedback is addressed with the Line Leaders and Managers.
- To carry out Glass and Brittle Plastic checks weekly.
- To conduct monthly traceability & mass balance exercises
- To ensure Health & Safety & HACCP requirements are met.
- To maintain accuracy in the completion of record keeping systems - both manual and computerised where applicable.
- To monitor product with regards to shelf life/quality and trials and document accordingly and in line with customer specifications.
- Laboratory sampling - product sampling for Pesticides and Microbiological testing, conducting hand swabs and water samples
- Always ensure you adhere to company procedures, policies and guidelines.

**Person Specification**:

- Not responsible for the management of any individual, however are part of a small QA team and therefore needs to be an effective team player and capable of managing good working relationships
- Individual needs to be comfortable with lone working as the sole QA on site.
- This individual will interact with many internal functions and in order to be effective in their role, they need to be a comfortable communicator, thorough with their information, determined, polite and organised.
- Has experience in a similar role - QC or QA
- Full driving licence
- Good basic education, minimum G.C.S.E in English/Maths
