**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Trainee Assistant Buyer, you’ll support the Buying Department with daily tasks while undergoing training to develop your skills and knowledge in procurement. With our guidance and support, you’ll have the chance to pursue a fully funded HNC qualification relevant to your role, allowing you to build a solid foundation for a successful career in procurement and buying within housebuilding.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with site procurement, including materials, consumables, and plant orders.
- Help maintain accurate plant purchase records and site plant records.
- Contribute to the invoicing appraisal process and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with costing and ordering sales extras as required.
- Provide general departmental administration support as needed.

**What we’re looking for**:
**Minimum Experience and Qualifications**:

- Basic knowledge of computer packages (particularly Excel and Word).
- GCSE grades 5-9 (or B-A*) in Mathematics and English Language.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred, but not essential.

**Personal Attributes**:

- Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Drive and ambition to constantly improve.
- Strong interest in construction, particularly housebuilding.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated and adaptable.
