Mental Health Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has become available to work within our growing, specialist mental health service in West Sussex. We have full time and part time roles available
Venture-People offer outreach support and housing solutions to individuals with a mental health need, maximizing their independence with the right support at the right time. We work in a person-centred and recovery focused approach, steeped in therapeutic optimism.
We are looking for Recovery Workers who will make up a growing team within Chichester and the surrounding areas.
**Benefits**
You will work in a varied and dynamic working environment with Competitive rates of pay (£20,800-£23,400 per annum pro rata) up to 45 hours per week and benefits scheme. You will receive full induction training and continued professional development and flexible working with opportunities for evenings and weekends. Excellent support from experienced management and the wider clinical leadership team and a chance to get involved in this new and exciting service from the ground up.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Your role will be delivering quality support that enables people to achieve their outcomes by using and developing person-centred support plans. You will be able to manage risks and vulnerabilities whilst promoting social inclusion and maximising the opportunities for the people you support.
**Qualifications and Skills**
You should have an enthusiasm and interest in working within the mental health sector with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile. You should have a flexible approach that respects individual differences with an ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your initiative
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
**Salary**: £20,800.00-£23,400.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (preferred)
