**About the Role**

Consensus Community Support Limited in the Rawtenstall area, provides supported living services to people with learning disabilities and a range of complex needs across the North of England area. Supporting people who have a greater level of independence, individuals have their own tenancy and a separate support package which is provided by Consensus.

Support is bespoke and person-centred for everyone to meet their goals and aspirations and how they wish to live their life. The focus is on ensuring that people who live in the services lead meaningful lives within the local community with choice and control over their lives.

You will be supporting a young gentleman to live an independent life within the Rossendale area. He has keen interests in taking daily walks in the local area, going to football to play and to watch his favourite team, picnics, animals, swimming and watching his favourite TV programmes, gaming on his xbox, he also loves to be creative with arts and crafts. Staff supporting him will need to have stamina and patience and be able to engage in such activities. He appreciates staff with a good sense of humour, a sense of fun and playfulness. Driver is essential for this role. The shift patten you will work includes long days and sleep in shifts.

You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out. Develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping, and domestic duties. Providing help with personal care such as washing, bathing, and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.
