Spring Hill Primary School is looking to recruit an exceptional Teaching Assistant to work as part of our school team. You will work very closely with the class teacher to provide the very best education for our children. We believe that happy, secure children learn most effectively so you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to nurture and develop positive relationships.

Our school is a happy and exciting place to learn, currently catering for around 400 children between 4 and 11. The school is situated in Accrington and benefits from wonderful, extensive outdoor space.

As we continually reflect on making our provision the very best that it can be we are looking for someone who is up for this challenge and who will bring their own ideas and passion to really make a difference to our children. We are looking for a strong team member who has the ability and confidence to use their own initiative and to lead groups on their own as well as support the class teacher.

This position is offered at 30 hours per week working Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 3.30 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. The role will involve lunch cover. This is paid at grade 5, working term time only plus 5 INSET days.
