We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible and highly organised team player who will put the needs of our customers first. This position will suit someone who loves working in a small office environment and will ensure the smooth running of office operations on a weekly and monthly basis.
This is an office-based role between the hours of 9am to 5pm.
**Key responsibilities include the following**:
- Answer the telephones, providing information and assistance to callers and escalate or transfer to relevant team members when required
- Deal with day-to-day housekeeping issues to ensure the smooth running of the office.
- Arrange and maintain annual subscriptions, including insurance.
- Liaise with the accounts department to ensure that invoices and payments are kept up to date.
- Payment of suppliers as and when required, using a variety of payment methods.
- Banking on an ad-hoc basis and responsibility for petty cash.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and revision history.
- Update and maintain databases.
- Organise and store all hard and soft copies of documentation on a regular basis
- Order supplies for the office and warehouse
- Provide administrative support to the wider organisation as required.
- Oversee IT, phone and any other systems for the whole organisation.
- Any other general administrative duties in support of the company operation as directed/requested by management.
- Any other reasonable ADHOC duties when required
**Applicants must have/be**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experienced and motivated in an office environment
- An appreciation for the financial side of the business
A minimum of 5 years of operational experience in a similar role and MS Office / Excel experience is essential.
This position would suit someone who loves a varied role.
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
