We are a welding, fabrication and engineering business with two locations (Tewkesbury & Bredons Norton GL20) looking to expand our production capacity. We are looking for a General Operative to join our team and help our production move more efficiently.

Supplying the agricultural and information security industries, you will be responsible for a wide range of workshop duties including, but not limited to, machine operation, drilling, sawing, tapping, picking, packing and other general workshop duties.

**Typical Responsibilities will include those listed above as well as**:

- Work planning - Ensuring you are staying ahead of required parts and working with the unit supervisors to make sure jobs are completed in time and as required.
- Loading and Unloading of lorries.
- Goods in.
- Warehouse cleaning. Making sure all areas are safe and clean.
- Working with some hand tools and saws.
- Painting of parts

**Skills, Knowledge and experience**:

- Manual handling of parts. Forklift experience.
- Experience in a workshop environment, ideally in the metalworking industry is a bonus but not essential.
- Ability to manage the workload and plan ahead for your next task with a supervisor.
- Have a good eye for detail and able to work in a methodical manner to a high level of quality.
- Able to do some repetitive work to the same standard, consistent quality, consistent times.
