**Up to £60,000 + Benefits**
**Hybrid - Remote working with occasional office visits - Nationwide depending on location**
**After receiving a capital raise of over £1 billion we are looking to create a massive, Europe-wide digital marketplace more technologically advanced than any that has come before it. We have an established track record of dominance in the automotivemarket in the UK with digital brands like We Buy Any Car and Cinch, as well as having a growing presence in the £350bn / year European market with CarNext. We know that the success of this ambitious growth phase depends on our ability to scale up our DataScience team. We already have a high skilled team with a number of Machine Learning products live on many of our consumer facing and B2B services, and now we are looking to accelerate the development of our Data Science capabilities to the absolute cuttingedge. If you’d like to be a part of this, we’re looking for driven Data Scientists to join us**
We are looking for people with knowledge of at least some of:
- Python, sklearn, pandas, numpy, Keras, Tensorflow, PySpark, etc
- R, glmnet, plumber, forecast, prophet, etc
- Ideally an understanding of CI/CD, functional programming, and other coding good practice concepts
- Deep Learning, various Neural Network architectures, CNN/RNN/Transformers etc
- Graph theory, Bayesian Networks, GNNs
- Recommender systems
- Standard ML / statistical modelling concepts like tree ensembles (Random Forest, XGBoost..etc), linear regression, etc.
- SQL
- Git

As a Data Scientist working for BCA, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining data products using our best-in-class framework. From starting with simple proofs of concept through to model refinement and deployment, you’ll be responsible for developingboth new and existing data products.
Ideally, you’ll have some knowledge of a range of statistical learning approaches e.g. regression methods, tree based approaches, graphical ML approaches, clustering, etc. You will be innovative in model development and naturally curious, willing to trynew approaches.
