Dog Cuddler

London, United Kingdom Dog Squad London Ltd Full time

Dog Squad London are looking for volunteers to help us at our busy and fast growing daycare

Through this role, you will gain practical and hands on experience with dogs and learn about canine behaviour. No two dogs are the same and they all have unique personalities which is something you will soon pick up on. Whilst some will happily jump on your lap the second they meet you, others can be a bit more timid and can take a little longer to warm up to you. Developing relationships with humans is an important aspect of a dog's socialisation and you would be playing a key role in this.

This would be a great opportunity for someone studying an animal related qualification.

**ABOUT US**

We are a small boutique dog daycare centre based in the Wandsworth Riverside Quarter (SW18 1NL). We specialise in small - medium sized breeds and our client base is mostly small cockapoos, cavapoos etc but we do have some bigger breeds. We are an indoor-only site and we walk the dogs twice daily in the nearby Wandsworth Park.

**THE ROLE**

We are looking for a couple of volunteers to provide cuddles and play games with the dogs between the morning and afternoon walks. The majority of our squad are huge cuddle bugs and we simply don't have enough laps

No experience necessary, however we are looking for someone who absolutely adores dogs and is happy to spend a few hours giving cuddles and playing with our pups.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide car parking, however the daycare is easily accessible via public transport.

Hours: 10.30/ 11am to 3pm. (It would be minimum 3 hours within this time frame). You **must be reliable** and **looking to commit to a regular volunteer space** for at least 3 months e.g. Tuesdays 11am - 2pm.
- Please note - as a small business, we are unable to respond to all applicants and only successful applicants will be contacted. _
