**Salary**: Up to £70,000 P/A DOE + benefits (including bonus, and pension)
Hours: 37 Hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced FPGA Designer to be involved in the development of a growing portfolio of complex FPGA platforms on behalf of a world class technical engineering company based in Stevenage.
The portfolio ranges from advanced signal processing systems (Image\Radio), core embedded processing systems, through to safety & security critical systems.
The FPGA Designer will be involved in all phases of the FPGA design life cycle, from requirement inception through to a validated design. This offers a great opportunity to strongly influence the design, push the use of latest technologies, and interact with the wider multidiscipline design teams.
Our portfolio uses devices from all the major FPGA vendors, and we are always looking to use cutting edge tools and technologies. In this role, you would be part of a strong team of FPGA designers, and would be key to delivering our current and future products.

**Required Skills**:
Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in most of the resulting areas:
- Generating complex FPGA architectures and design implementations (VHDL, Simulink etc), targeting Xilinx, Intel, Microsemi devices.
- Verifying complex FPGA implementations using VHDL and System Verilog\UVM test-bench methodologies.
- Using FPGA design toolsets and Mentor verification tools (QuestaSim & ModelSim).
- Generating low-level software (C) to facilitate FPGA test and integration with the wider embedded system, along with the ability to Configure and Document designs to a high professional standard.
