We're delighted to be working with a rapidly growing digital agency, that provides services and consultancy to some of the UK's largest retailers. They're looking for a Head of People to steer the organisation through its next stage of growth as they'vereceived a significant Series A investment to further accelerate their growth.

You'll be part of the new senior management team. You'll have the opportunity to build the perfect People function and the team from the ground up. Also, You'll be working for an organisation with an expanding client base of several hundred e-commerce companiesand over 100 staff across the UK and USA.

The Head of People will define and implement a best-in-class strategy encompassing all aspects of the employee lifecycle and experience - including attraction and selection, diversity and inclusion, learning and development, engagement, performance management,compensation and retention.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set direction for the People team, with continuous focus on ensuring that the Employee Value Proposition is aligned with company goals and values
- Ensure the remote working policy (ability to productively work from home or different remote locations) is well executed and delivers the desired outcomes: talent acquisition, productivity, retention, well-being and cost.
- Cultivate and bring to life the company’s values and culture throughout all levels of the organisation.
- Establish a compelling employer brand: Position the company as an employer of choice and leader in its market, where talent can be masters of their domain and recognised as leading thinkers in their field.
- Work with the COO to help deliver the company’s management approach and communication architecture.
- Ensure the best experience and support of each employee throughout the employee life-cycle: hiring; onboarding; development; reward; environment; offboarding.
- Develop a comprehensive talent acquisition, engagement, and retention plan to support growth, aligned with company growth goals:

- Manage the overall recruitment process and create the systems and processes for effective, rapid recruitment and onboarding.
- Define and rollout an effective HR operation and ensure company policies and procedures deliver legal and GDPR compliance.
- Support the development of managers in the organisation and provide ongoing advice to managers in all HR related matters.
- Ensure the smooth operations of facilities in our regional hubs: Leeds, Austin and others as added

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in a People function with particular expertise in growth-stage technology companies.
- Experience in leading the People function using a data-driven and KPI-led approach to performance management, with an understanding of best practices and industry benchmarks.
- A track record of delivering ambitious talent acquisition plans at speed and recruiting remotely in the UK and other regions, including the USA.
- Strong Experience in developing and deploying strategies and plans to define and develop a company culture.
- Experience in developing and implementing remote working policies.
- Experience working in an agile environment where plans and priorities are regularly reviewed.
- Experience in sourcing and managing HR technology platforms.
- Able to work flexible hours as needed to achieve business goals.
