We have been working successfully with this business for several years and have seen how they have supported and invested time and money into their staff. As a business, they provide a comprehensive financial planning and discretionary management serviceto corporate and private Clients across investments, pensions, protection, and holistic financial planning. Due to a promotion internally, my client is looking to recruit a technically minded paraplanner to join the team.

Working alongside a small team of Paraplanners supporting 7 Financial Advisers with AUM of £ c 330m with an average Client of £400k, you will join an experienced team from a range of professional backgrounds who are passionate about client service and theirfinancial planning remains a priority working closely with many financial institutions to provide innovative solutions, which will add value to their clients.

My client will consider two types of individuals for this role, either a Diploma Qualified Paraplanner with strong technical reporting skills or an experienced Client Support Administrator/Junior Paraplanner with several exams completed who would like tofocus the next few years on growing their technical Paraplanning knowledge. Elements of your role will include -- Preparation and writing of reports for clients on financial planning matters
- Undertaking research as required for specific projects, i.e. on providers and investments
- Preparation of packs for meetings with clients including investment valuations
- Maintaining annual Client review process by reviewing portfolios and writing review letters
- Providing tax packs
- Ensuring all compliance procedures and client files are maintained to a high standard
- Preparing New Business checklists, anti-money laundering documents and illustrations before the business is placed for clients
- Updating new Client Progress
- Cash flow planning
- Attending and contributing to regular team meetings as required
- Undertaking ad hoc projects as required

This role requires good planning, ability to demonstrate influencing skills, strong focus and technical understanding coupled with relevant wealth management/financial planning exposure and exam success with the ability to build long standing relationshipswith clients.
