Ian Williams has an exciting opportunity for a **Trainee Painter and Decorator** to join our thriving** Painting** unit, covering Cheltenham and Gloucester locations.

You will be working alongside our successful and friendly team of Painters, on a two-year programme, with on-site assessments, through which you will gain an NVQ Level 2 Painting and Decorating qualification. We are looking for hardworking, keen individuals who are Health and Safety aware with commitment and enthusiasm to succeed.

**The Trainee Painter and Decorator role**:

- You will receive on the job training and support to complete all internal and/ or external decorations on social, private, and commercial properties.
- You will build excellent relationships, representing Ian Williams whilst working on public sites. Contributing to a positive team working environment and ensuring our customers feel safe and comfortable in your company.
- You will consistently achieve agreed performance targets, always seeking to develop and succeed.
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are met as well as comply with best practice standards.

**What will you bring as a Trainee Painter and Decorator?**
- You should have a genuine passion for painting and decorating. Some relevant hands-on practical work experience and a good awareness of site Health & Safety would be very advantageous.
- You will have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with the use of your own vehicle which is essential to complete the role of **Trainee Painter and Decorator**.
