Being fully embedded in a commercial analysis based role in this Financial Services business in Coventry you will use strong Excel and analytical skills to support with a variety of financial and reporting areas. You will work with various stakeholders tosupport the business in detailed understanding behind the data and will involved in the visualisation of data to relevant stakeholders. **Client Details** My client is a high performing and fast paced Financial Services business based in Coventry which is currently embarking on an exciting financial and business transformation programme which will mean a high level of variety in your Finance Analyst (FPA)role. The business is incredibly professional and operate in a regulated environment which means attention to detail is essential in your approach to work. **Description** The Finance Analyst (FPA) working for this large highly successful Financial Services business in Coventry will involve: - Management reporting outputs - Weekly Flash report: process control, ownership of data, reporting and ensuring the report content remains relevant for stakeholders - Performance in context.Provide a weekly performance update on financials and product volumes, including 6 week trends, "best week" and including narrative - Sales funnel / productivity. Drive the analyses of the sales funnel and productivity across the Society, benchmarking internally and where possible to external sources - Provide detailed balance sheet, volumes and margins across the LTV segments - Maintain and develop the monthly forecasting process, providing visibility to Finance stakeholders. - Prepare inputs to the CEO report as directed; managing the process, controls and taking responsibility for the quality of the output. - Preparing and reviewing month end close and month end management reporting - Identifying areas for improvement of processes and controls - Documenting processes and controls and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks - Participate in business meetings to share recommendations and ideas for development of new management reporting. - Stakeholder engagement, constantly seeking out views of users to ensure reporting framework remains fit for purpose **Profile** To be successful in this highly commercial Finance Analyst (FPA) role you will be ideally studying towards a professional qualification and have a highly analytical mindset. You will thrive in providing detail behind the data and supporting stakeholdersin their understanding of complex data sets to drive commercial decision making. You will have previous analytical experience either from a placement year following graduation or from your general work history.
