We are recruiting for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join a team based in Wellesbourne Distribution Park.

This is a full time and permanent role reporting into the Chief Operating Officer. The role is 38 hours per week:
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm

Salary £23,000 - £26,000 depending upon experience.

The Role:
The roles includes responsibility for Credit Control for the UK based companies, Purchase Ledger for one specific part of the company as well as general day to day administration tasks mainly within the finance department. The principal aim of the role is to ensure that customers are paying their accounts on time and resolving any queries that arise quickly and professionally. The Purchase Ledger element of the role includes the processing of purchase invoices and resolving queries where required and setting up payments to suppliers.

Main duties and role responsibilities:

- Credit control and resolution of sales ledger queries
- Calling customers to chase outstanding payments
- Posting and allocation of customer receipts on Sage
- Prepare and post machine stage payment invoices and follow up for payment
- Set up new customer and supplier accounts as required
- Collection of Direct Debits on a monthly basis
- Monitor Proforma receipts and advise team to release orders
- Reviewing and issuing of customer account statements
- Reviewing customer accounts that are on hold or should be on hold
- Processing of Purchase Invoices and query resolution
- Preparation of payments to Suppliers
- Analysis of Machine Control accounts
- Foreign currency bank reconciliations
- Any other duties that may be required of you from time to time

- Experience of Sage 200 an advantage
