Atkinson Moss is delighted to be supporting an entrepreneurial business in the their search for a **Financial Analyst**. This role will be integral in supporting business change by providing relevant management information and will support effective decision in both procurement and product pricing.

The role will support the Managing Director, Finance Manager and the wider business in the deployment of both financial and non-financial information.

This is a newly created role and comes with the autonomy to develop and shape the role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take a lead role in the development and refinement of financial and data analysis, such that management information is impactful to senior management.
- Ensure consistent, accurate and timely provision of management information on procurement, pricing and cost of sales
- Assistance to management team in the development of operational and commercial performance metrics and develop early warning indicators
- Responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting, including; productivity analysis, cost base analysis, supply chain and other key KPI reporting
- Provide insight and analysis on performance drivers from retail partners
- Support key business processes, such as annual budgets and re-forecasts
- Provide financial support to none finance functions in developing and understanding performance metrics
- Provide support and cover to Finance Manager with various accounting tasks

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience of operating in a complex high volume transactional business
- Advanced data analytic skills
- Advanced excel user, power pivots and query
- An effective communicator able to engage with a wider number of stakeholders to influence change
- Wide business awareness and able to lead on both finance and non-finance matters
