**About the role**
Pay Details: Grade 5 SCP 8-12 £22,777 - £24.496 p.a.

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 37 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm & Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

Main Place of Work: Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry

**Description**:
Administration of Local Taxation including listing, collection, recovery and enforcement of Council Tax, NNDR and all income due to the Council

**About you**
You will need:

- An understanding of Local Taxation matters relating to Council Tax and National Non Domestic Rates.
- Experience in dealing with financial matters
- Experience in working with fully computerised systems
- Able to deal confidently and effectively with customers.
- Able to deal with customers in difficult situations.
- 5 GCSE’s grade A to C grades / O levels including English and Mathematics or equivalent
