The Role of The Financial Accountant:
The successful Financial Accountant will assist the Financial Control function in day-to-day control processes, as well as consolidating and reporting results to the parent company. The key objective of this role to maintain accurate and up to date accounts,ensuring general ledgers of the UK entity, and ensure accurate and timely month end reporting submission. The role also is involved in Group-wide reporting, treasury management as well supporting with the UK Statutory Audit process. This role is focused onGroup & UK accounting and controlling including statutory and formal reporting as well as transactional processes and compliance items.
Skills and Experience Required of The Financial Accountant:
- Ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
- Knowledge of SAP an advantage
- Competent, conscientious, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently across all teams, an excellent Team Player
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a logical manner with high volumes of data.
- Tenacious attitude with a proactive approach and able to work independently
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
- Previous track record of working to deadlines and being self-motivated
- The ability to prioritise and change priorities at short notice.
