Consultant Gastroenterologist

Applications are invited from ambitious, enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly multi-disciplinary Gastroenterology Unit at Wirral University Teaching Hospital. The successful applicant(s) will support in the delivery of high quality, endoscopy care in an accredited JAG Endoscopy unit, undertake outpatient clinics, and inpatient care on our dedicated Gastroenterology Ward.

As a consultant within the Medical Division you are not required to take part in the general medical on call rota, you will however, be part of the GI bleed rota.

The new appointee is expected to have a broad based gastroenterology and endoscopy background and expertise in ERCP / EUS would be highly desirable. The Trust would be able to offer more than one post to help expand gastroenterology services on the Wirral Peninsula.
