**About the role**:
Vintage Cash Cow is looking for a highly experienced and knowledgeable person to work within our exceptional marketplace production team. From experts in metals, timekeeping, medals, toys, cameras and product photographers, you would join a team with decades of collective experience in the vintage industry. Every week the team processes thousands of vintage and antique items purchased by the company, curating pieces into ‘lots’ to be sold through auctions.
As the company grows and enters new markets, our growing teams will be supported in their personal development. This role is perfect for someone with solid experience and knowledge in a variety of vintage goods You might come from an auction background or similar, with an eye for spotting the hidden gems amongst our vintage goods.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sort large volumes of stock into categories.
- Work with multiple categories we deal in including Precious & Non-Precious Metals, Coins, Writing Instruments, Vintage Toys, Medals and Militaria, Cameras. Using & developing your knowledge.
- Identify higher-end collectables suitable for specialized selling platforms.
- Share your knowledge with the rest of the team
- Curate pieces into “lots” ready for sale through auctions & trade.
- Research unfamiliar items.
- Write listings with the appropriate level of detail and accuracy required for each separate platform to maximise customer appeal & revenue.
- Keep and maintain a safe working area; a clean, and tidy environment.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Be positive with an upbeat attitude who enjoys rapid change.
- Be knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to handling and processing a range of vintage goods
- Be willing to learn about other vintage products that we handle.
- Be able to follow instructions and standard processes with high attention to detail.
- Be able to work well as part of a team.
- Passionate about antiques and collectables.
- Be computer literate.
- Be continuously developing your knowledge and skills
- Be able to write concise but compelling descriptions of products in a timely manner.
- Experience in listing and photographing products for online sales is an advantage but not essential.

- Starting salary 24,000 - 26,000, dependant on experience (reviewed annually)
