Copthill School is a thriving independent school with an excellent local reputation for great education and food with a unique atmosphere, based within a beautiful area close to a bustling vibrant town of Stamford. They are champions in outdoor learning and enjoy acres of land, beautiful woodlands, even a Celtic hill fort

There’s a real buzz in the school; and we are now recruiting for an enthusiastic happy cook to provide exciting, creative tasty meals for our students-Ages 2-11

For this role you will be assisting in cooking for around 300 students, ensuring the food looks inspiring and tastes good.

The position is term time only, Monday-Friday

**You will be.....**

Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our young students and in line with the CH&CO style using the correct tools and presentation techniques.
Cleaning and washing up all equipment, kitchen, and service areas to comply with cleaning schedules
Attend to Client, customer needs in a polite and helpful and friendly manner aiding where necessary in line with the CH&CO style.
Completing daily food safety, allergen checks, are done and recording them to company standards.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**

Responsible and accountable for the food provision at Copthill school.
Preparation of food to the highest standard and in line with the menu requirements and in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to our students.
Attend to student needs in a polite and helpful manner aiding where necessary in line with the CH&CO style and to respond appropriately to any customer queries or complaints taking responsibility to resolve where necessary.
Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
