**About the role**
Join our **Highways DBFO team **as a **Technician** in **Exeter**, where you have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled team and the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry.

Balfour Beatty Highways delivers major schemes including smart motorway upgrade programmes, complex national infrastructure projects and regional investment programme works for our key customer, National Highways.

**What you'll be doing**
On a day-to-day basis you will:

- Provide safety information for works identified
- Maintain programme of and undertake RMMS inspections
- Undertake Safety Inspections and Patrols
- Undertake Routine and Specialist surveys including lamp scout
- Carry out Inventory surveys
- Monitor works undertaken by workforce and subcontractors
- Carry out site audits and field inspections
- Act as Duty Officer for Winter Maintenance and Emergency Response.
- Maintain Roadspace requirements and Network Occupancy requirements
- ESDAL and AIL Management

**Who we're looking for**
To join us in this role, we would like you to demonstrate one or more of the following:

- Experience in execution of highway maintenance works.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS accreditation
- Available for on call (one week in 4), and night work
