Cook Assistant

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the Head Cook in meal preparation and cooking tasks, ensuring dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, including washing utensils, pots, and pans.
- Support with food safety practices by adhering to hygiene regulations and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, measuring spices, and assembling dishes as directed.
- Assist in plating meals for service, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation, deliveries and reporting low supplies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 per week
