**Job Title**: Support Worker Female Full Time (36 hours per week) and Part Time (24 hours per week)

**Salary**:
£15.50 per hour day shift (Monday to Friday), upon successful completion of competencies and training

£16.50 per hour day shift (Saturday to Sunday), upon successful completion of competencies and training

£16.50 per hour waking nights (Monday to Friday), upon successful completion of competencies and training

£17.50 per hour waking nights (Saturday to Sunday), upon successful completion of competencies and training

£13.00 per hour training

**Shifts**: Long Days and Waking Nights to cover on a rota basis.

**Hours**:
7.30am-7.30pm long day (2:1)

7.30am-1.30pm and 1.30pm-7.30pm (2:1)

7.30pm-7.30am waking night

We are looking for bright, sociable and energetic individuals **living in the Cumbria area** who have a positive outlook to work within our team. You will be required to provide 2:1 care and support for our client in his family home who has Motor Neurone Disease and has complex care needs which include a tracheostomy and ventilator.

Experience in care would be an advantage, but this is not essential as training will be provided to applicants with an aptitude for care.

**DUTIES**: To provide practical support and intimate personal care in line with the client's requests.
- As directed by the Clients care plan provide practical assistance and guidance to support the client in day to day living
- Provide clear verbal & written communication across all parties and produce daily records as required
- Operate in line with Premium Care Solutions organisational procedures
- Provide a practical high-level service to the client in line with CQC standards of care
- Undertake household duties and prepare meals

**ALL THE TRAINING NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE IS COMPLETED ONLINE AND HANDS ON.**

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:
Full, UK driving licence

Be flexible to work shifts as part of a team.

**Skills**
- Good hearing & listening skills and clear speech
- Good verbal and written skills
- Good attention to detail

**Ability to**:

- Use own initiative and work within a team
- Form professional working relationships with staff and client’s family
- Be efficient when organising workload of self and others
- Keep records in line with company policies
