**The role**:
Are you passionate about film and TV production? Do you have a knack for building relationships and managing complex projects?
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Film Liaison Officer to be the key point of contact for those seeking to film on the iconic River Thames. As a Film Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for managing all filming requests, ensuring that filming plans are clear, safe and compliant with regulations. You will work closely with the key external stakeholders, as well as operational decision-makers, to secure the necessary approvals for filming projects.
You will join a supportive and forward-thinking Corporate Affairs team, but this role is the sole focus for filming and advertising within the department, giving you the opportunity to make a direct impact.
**What we are looking for**:
You will have:
- A degree level education or equivalent.
- 5 years professional experience in a relevant field, some of that in a filming or advertising service delivery role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for handling enquiries about filming, advertising and PR campaigns, coordinating with operational leaders internally to ensure requests are safe and achievable, and provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Developing and driving forward business development activities, to showcase the opportunities of filming and advertising on the River Thames to generate revenue.
- Responsible for the project management of major filming and product launch activities, being able to quickly, creatively and proactively problem solve.
- Developing strong relationships with key partners and identify opportunities.
**For this role, the criteria are**:
- Proactive and ability to think on your feet to problem solve.
- Experience of managing and delivering filming service or advertising projects in multi-disciplinary environment / teams.
- Knowledge and understanding of how location managers, production crews, media broadcast units, PR launch teams, and photographers operate and work.
- Experience of business development, ideally within a filming or advertising or PR service delivery context.
- Excellent at relationship building, across groups with different interests.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
- Strong project management skills.
- Well-honed negotiation skills.
- Good IT skills.
