We are a social landlord that manages a number of supported accommodation properties in Nottingham and are needing shift work Male Support Workers.

The job role includes dealing with tenants daily, mostly whom are or previously have been homeless, carry out support worker duties (providing practical and emotional support), build engaging support plans, do room checks, write up session notes, and other office duties.

What we are looking for:

- A kind, caring and compassionate individual with experience in dealing with vulnerable homeless people.
- Must have experience working with homeless people.
- Must be comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour.
- Ideally has experience dealing with complex needs.
- Must be a problem solver.
- Admin skills and confident using computers, for example Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Commitment to be able to arrive on the job for the required times.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to use initiative and a good eye for detail.
- Strong people skills as we deal with a variety of tenants daily.
- Access to your own vehicle is beneficial but not required.
- You must be able to use a smart phone to be able to communicate via WhatsApp.
- You must have a basic understanding of fire regulations and fire safety.

You will be telephone interviewed if you are deemed suitable for the position.

Following on from there you will be asked to attend an interview in Nottingham.

Working hours may be varied but a total of 40 hours per week.

Start Date - Immediate

**Salary**: £11.00-£14.00 per hour
