Securities Services (SeS) provides the Bank and its clients with custody and clearing, asset servicing, securities financing, and liquidity services in more than 30 markets around the world.

As Risk and Control specialist, you will take the lead across a variety of run the bank and transformation initiatives, with a particular day one focus on Know Your Client (KYC).

**Your key responsibilities**
- Managing the SeS client perimeter, liaising with Accountable client owners, managing change control requests, and ensuring timely compliance with policy requirements
- Ensuring that SeS meets internal/external KYC objectives and act as the point of escalation between the control functions, infrastructure partners and the SeS executive committee (ExCo)
- Establishing effective partnerships across the business area, KYC Operations and Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) to streamline and improve internal processes, tighten controls, and increase productivity
- Responsible for and supported by a team of 6 based in Mumbai and Berlin
- Owning and driving communication strategy to ensure all stakeholders are appraised of changes
- Providing operational risk management support and working with the Product Chief Operating Office (COO) and Divisional Controls Office to support SeS in critical risk control development and deployment. Assessing the impact of new non-financial risk and control related policy, technology, and process driven changes on behalf of the SeS business and driving business orientated outcomes end to end
**Your skills and experience**
- Experience with and working knowledge of KYC policies and procedures
- Broad understanding of the Corporate Bank business and its product offerings, (custody and clearing an advantage)
- Experience in business, project or change management and be a consummate problem solver
- Ability to effectively build relationships, and quickly acquire a rapport with internal/external stakeholders
- Educated to Bachelors degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
