One of Scotland’s finest 5-star hotels, we are seeking creative, passionate, and enthusiastic** **Receptionist/ Reservationist** to join our award-winning hotel team.

This is an opportunity for either an experienced receptionist, to progress their career, or for someone with no previous experience, who has a genuine desire to work within the hospitality industry, however, service with a smile and personality is a must.

The role will involve welcoming our guests to the hotel in a friendly and helpful manner, assisting with many and varied guest requirements from check-in to check-out, ensuring excellent guest service at all times. You will have a friendly and polite manner and you will be expected to care for all our customers in a helpful, professional and efficient way.

When Fonab first opened its doors in 2013, we had 24 bedrooms. Today this magnificent Castle has 42 bedrooms and has grown from strength to strength and recently undertaken a 3-million-pound development, including a new look to our fine dining restaurant Sandemans and our main Brasserie restaurant.

Today, as a member of the Luxury Scotland, Fonab continues to offer an unrivalled array of attractions, including luxury accommodation, some of the best dining experiences in Scotland, spa and an exhilarating array of outdoor activities.

**Location**; Pitlochry, just off the A9. Fonab is also within easy reach of several Scottish towns and cities: Edinburgh City Centre (1hr), Glasgow or Dundee (1hr), Perth (20mins). Pitlochry also has a main trainline on the Main East Coast Line.

**The kind of person we're looking for**:

- Previous experience at a similar level working as part of a fast-moving, quality driven Hospitality team
- Your passion for customer care is a given; you’ll want to continue to grow your experience, quality driven environment
- You're highly motivated and possess an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- Excellent personal presentation, hygiene and grooming standards are all second nature to you
- You're a strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way

**What’s in it for you**:

- The on target earning potential for this role is £27,000 / annual salary, compromising of a base salary of £21,500 to £24,000 based on experience, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 gratuities per annum
- Our reservations colleagues are contracted to 40 hours per week
- Overtime is paid at your hourly rate should you be required to work more than your contracted hours
