**About the Opportunity**:
We are currently recruiting an Associate Director, Asset Adoption. Asset Adoption covers the end-to-end process starting at Design Acceptance including Streetworks, Construction and Commissioning, and ending with Completions and Asset Record acceptance.
Brought to life this includes:
- technical review and acceptance of designs
- oversight of construction and commissioning and ancillary processes; and
- management of asset completion records (construction and adoption records).
As **Associate Director, Asset Adoption** you will:
- lead multi-utility asset adoption processes for assets across the UK
- support business development by building and harnessing relationships with key partners, helping to find solutions and remove barriers
- ensure asset compliance
- protect investment in assets
- represent and advocate for the Company’s interests
- attend and participate in monthly board meetings
- work as part of the senior leadership team to deliver LMAM’s key objectives.
This is an exciting and high-profile role and will be central to the achievement of our growth objectives.

**Your Responsibilities**:
- Manage the multi-utility design acceptance team. This will include ensuring that design standards are applied consistently, working with our customers and partners to find design solutions.
- Oversight of the multi-utility construction and commission processes to ensure that assets are built and commissioned as designed, and in line with all Last Mile standards and procedures.
- Responsibility for the Streetworks processes and statutory undertaker license obligations. Alongside the Streetworks Manager, this will include the management of an external service provider and other internal and external partners, and liaising with national and local government as appropriate.
- Oversight of the Completions team, ensuring that asset records are complete and compliant; obtained efficiently; and stored effectively.
- Promote and sustain a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.

**Experience / Knowledge**:
**Essential**:
- Experience in a senior management role, leading multiple complex and diverse teams and processes.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering process change and of continuous improvement.
- A proven commitment to safety and compliance.
**Desirable**:
- Working knowledge of regulated utility industries in the UK, in particular distribution functions.
**Qualifications**:
- Demonstrable relevant experience is more important that formal education.
