**Associate Director Corporate Writer**

One of the largest global investment management companies are currently seeking an Associate Director. This role will have accountability for the content requirements of the CEO’s Office. This is a unique opportunity to support the communications of theCEO and help to develop the corporate narrative during a transformational period for the company

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Head of Communications to manage the CEO’s external communications calendar
- Develop talking points on a range of different topics, working with technical experts to distil their ideas into concise points to be used at external and internal events
- Plan, edit and write a variety of content including briefing notes, scripts for internal events, quarterly client letters, forewords for corporate reports, social media posts, award nominations, shareholder and other senior leadership team communications.
- Support the development of the corporate narrative which helps employees understand and unite behind the company’s vision
- Collaborate with the wider communications team, editorial and public policy teams and a range of business stakeholders support communications objectives
- Exceptional writing skills with previous experience of writing and editing content for senior executives
- Superior attention to detail and the ability to ability to present sometimes complex information and ideas as simple and engaging content
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet deadlines and respond quickly and confidently to a wide range of stakeholders
- Energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to work closely and effectively with other team members and the wider business
- Experience of working in a large, global organisation, ideally with a background in financial services
- Knowledge of the asset management industry, with keen interest in markets and the economy
- Appreciation of developing trends in the media and for communications in general.
