Lettings Property Inspector

As part of our Property Management team, our Property Inspectors play a vital part to the service we offer to our landlords, giving them confidence that their property is being maintained to the required standard and that all maintenance issues are being addressed. They are effectively 'the eyes' of Edward Mellor and our clients.
This role will predominantly consist of travelling around our property stock in Greater Manchester (mainly but not restricted to Tameside and Stockport area's), completing various check in reports, mid term inspections and check out reports each day. You will be responsible for proactively filling your diary, completing digital reports with a high level of detail, and communicating with the Property Managers on maintenance issues and areas requiring attention by either the landlord or the tenant.
We are looking for a new member of the team, with experience of inspecting properties, and with the ability to work quickly and diligently. You must be smartly presented, a real people person, and have the awareness that your work will take place in our tenants homes, and so must be treated with respect, dignity and sensitivity. You will be required to attend our vibrant and lively Stockport Head Office each morning to meet with the Lettings & PM team and collect keys prior to going to your appointments. **A car and driving license is essential.**
