**Role Summary**

As an HVDC summer intern, you will be able to gain a basic understanding of the technologies and operations of the High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) business through meaningful, challenging and yet manageable technical tasks.

During this 3-month period, you will be embarking on a condensed learning journey in most of the engineering disciplines, Mechanic Engineering and Power System Engineering in particular.

**Essential Responsibilities**:
You will be given a defined scope of work based on HVDC business needs and what you have learned so far. The detailed tasks will be agreed upon between yourself and your technical mentor at the very beginning of your internship.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- We are looking for 3rd or 4th year students in related engineering fields, such as electrical and electronic engineering, power system engineering and mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of power electronics, power systems, Matlab/Simulink and HVDC would be an advantage.

- Able to work to deadlines with good quality
- Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
