Working with the CEO to establish a full HR strategy, covering every aspect of the people journey
- Establishing, developing and maintaining a suite of HR policies and procedures to support and underpin the core values and culture of the organisation
- Managing the full employee lifecycle from sourcing the best talent to managing exits
- Designing people strategies and plans - identifying and retaining key talent and succession planning
- Leading on the company’s Diversity and Inclusion agenda - articulating and embedding plans
- Managing Learning and Development initiatives to meet the needs of the employees and the company
- Main point of contact for all Employee Relations activity - employee queries, management support and employee engagement including managing any 'people issues’ according to the law/best practise
- Managing appraisals and performance management
- Championing company-wide well-being, and managing the reward strategy (including 'soft’ benefits)
- Developing successful relationships with stakeholders / members of the team
- Monitoring the organisation effectively against key metrics using the personnel system
- Using data to drive insight.
- Managing all M&A, including due diligence, resource planning (TUPE/ Redundancies) and culture / internal communications
- Payroll and Benefits - liaising with external payroll agency and internal finance team

What we're looking for:

- Demonstrable success in similar senior level Human Resources roles
- Able to work in a stand alone role
- CIPD qualified
- Strong HR knowledge and generalist experience
- Strategic yet hands-on, proactive and dynamic
- Eagerness and ability to establish strong culture within the organisation
- Experienced in establishing a range of HR initiatives, processes and procedures
- Extensive experience, knowledge and understanding of ER, D&I and L&D
- A true people-person: confident communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful relationships at all levels
- Approachable, supportive, motivated and enthusiastic
- Ability to grow the organisation with the right talent
- Good business acumen
