**Salary: £20,222 per annum**

**37 Hours per week, 40 weeks per year**

The **Job Coach **will engage with learners within the Supported Internship programme to provide a full support package from initial interview to progressing students into internship and sustainable employment.

**Responsibilities of our** **Job Coach**:

- Provide one to one support for learners on Supported Internship programmes, giving support and guidance as required both in college and externally in the internship workplace from the start to the end of the programme.
- Work with employers and partners to ensure that their needs are met and to provide adequate information for them to be able to support the learners
- Undertake the initial advice and guidance to ensure learners access the support required to progress them into supported internship and into employment.
- Manage and undertake IAG sessions with learners to promote positive progression and to help learners identify goals on completion of programme.
- Provide the Supported Internship team with progression reporting including college staff DoE and other relevant agencies as required pre and post programme.
- Liaise with external agencies, employers and partners to identify opportunities for individuals to access an internship.
- Liaise both internally and externally to ensure that learners receive appropriate support to complete programmes and to support with job seeking.
- Visit the employers and supported learners to an agreed timeframe to support in the workplace.
- Work in partnership with the tutors to support targets identified in ILP and achievements.

**What we’re looking for in our** **Job Coach**:

- GSCE Maths and English (grade A-C) or equivalent
- Level 3 IAG qualification or willingness to work towards (in order to access grade 5, this qualification must be attained)
- Experience of working in a recruitment agency, college, training organisation, assessment or mentoring environments
- IAG experience to unemployed
- Experience of working in a highly focused and client driven and management environment
