A **SEN school in Wandsworth** is looking for a **Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant** to support pupils in the Year 7 class who have needs inclusive of **social emotional mental health (SEMH), autism (ASD), hearing impairment (HI) and speech language and communication needs (SLCN).**As a **Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant** you will be working in the classroom to support the teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management and ensuring pupils have an engaging and encouraging learningexperience. You will also be responsible for providing tailored support to those pupils who require additional attention and lead interventions to promote positive social behaviour and independence.
- £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
- Long-term, full-time
- September start
- Good transport links and parking available

The successful **Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant **will:

- Have a positive and patient approach
- Have a dynamic approach to supporting the learning of SEN pupils
- Have good SEN experience, especially of **social emotional mental health (SEMH), autism (ASD), hearing impairment (HI) and speech language and communication needs (SLCN).**:

- Work well individually as well as part of a collaborative team
- Have a valid Enhanced DBS
