**Vacancy - SEMH Teaching Assistant**

**Location - Leeds, LS20**

**Start date - Immediate start**

**Salary - £70 to £90 per day**

**Contract - Fixed Term**

**The job**
- To provide support and guidance to the pupil by removing barriers to learning.
- To support and facilitate change and transition along the journey to excellence.
- To be a consistent support to avoid any further disruption.
- To be an active participant in supporting the timetable in all it's different context.
- Complete assessments and records of students progress and achievement.
- Work 1.2.1 and group settings to support pupils with complex needs.
- Hold a Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
- Have experience in an SEMH/SEND setting.
- Hold relevant experience / qualifications suited to supporting learners with additional needs.
- Have experience supporting learners with SEMH, challenging behaviours & SEND needs.
- Be resilient, dedicated and reliable.
- Team teach training would be preferable.
